Panel one: The woman steps into the doorway of the saloon.
Panel two: She sits down at the bar and says: "Give me a seidel of whatever you have... and any leads on where I can find good work 'round here."
The bartender replies, "Haha, I dunno about "good" work..."
Panel three: The bartender pours a glass of beer from the tap and says, "...but Morris just reopened the old coal mine. I'd thought that hole had dried up, but seems like they bring in more people every day."
Panel: four: The bartender continues, "They'll give you a place to live, but as for the quality of that life... seems like the only ones that last are the bloodless. The woman sits at the bar listening as the silhouette of a figure in a pointed hat appears in the doorway behind her.
