Panel 1: Three members of the meeting talking as Morris listens. The first man says, “Companies utilizing resurrection report increased production following workplace accidents. The second man says, “Investors noted superfluous existing safety measures cutting into profits.” The third man says, “300 pounds of gold at roughly $50,000,000, as compared to…”
Panel 2: “New respirators, reinforced supports, spark prevention, with an initial cost of $65,000,000…” says the woman in the second group as they explain more to Morriss as he takes it in. Another man says, “…upkeep, lighting system inspection and repair, totaling around $137,000,000 over the next five years.” The final man says, “The answer seems obvious.”
Panel 3: Morriss looks to the demon and says, “and you’re sure they’ll be…compliant. The demon casually smoking says, “Well they don’t wanna go back in the dirt now do they?”
Panel 4: Morriss outreaches a hand and says, “You have yourself a deal, uh, Mr…”
Panel 5: The demon replies, “Mammon. Call me Mammon.” As they shake hands. Mammon continues saying, “You won’t regret this Mr. Morriss. I guarantee it.”
Panel 6: Morriss signs the contract and asks, “How soon can we start?” Mammon replies, “Well immediately of course. My associate will be there to greet your workers in the morning.”
Panel 7: Mammon tents his fingers and grins.
