Panel 1: Norma leans over the edge of the couch she’s lying on to puke black ichor on the floor as the woman in the red jacket says, “There, that’s better.”
Panel 2: Norma leans her head on her hand and asks, “Where am I?” The woman replies, “Just south of the ass-end o’nowhere in my little wagon.”
Panel 3: Norma sits on the edge of the couch as the woman cleans the black ichor with a rag. Norma says, “Stop. I can clean that up.” The woman replies, “Keep your ass on that couch or I’ll put you back there myself.”
Panel 4: The woman sits up and says, “I’m Cécile by the way. Most folk call me Célie Mae. Who are you, and how you end up like this?”
Panel 5: Norma looks up and says, “Forget me, but you should know… it’s happening again… …There’s a gate on Mon’ro.”
Panel 5: The previous night. Norma is back in her suit looking up as the fiery triangular gate reflects off her helmet, with the silhouette of something stepping out.
