Panel 1: The Jarfly is parked in town right next to the giant tree as Norma and Célie Mae are setting up and moving boxes. Célie says, “Put that one right behind the stall The man that Norma beat up when she arrived in town is pointing at Norma while grabbing Doug’s shoulder and yells, “It’s her! Right there, Doug.”
Panel 2: He continues saying, “She’s the one that done…” He’s cut off by Doug grabbing his mouth and saying, “Keep it down, ya dumbass… I swear yer brains is softer’n a bowl o’grits.”
Panel 3: Doug looks off towards the street and says, “Go tell that sack o’bones we got eyes on ‘er. And be quick about it. The man replies quietly at first but getting louder as he goes on saying, “You got it, Doug! Ain’t nobody mess with a Doogie’n GET AWAY WI…”
Panel 4: Doug cuts him off by slapping him in the face and yells, “SHADDUP GODDAMMIT! GO!”
Panel 5: Doug squeezes the bridge of his nose as the man runs off saying, “Yessir, yessir’ yessir.”
